The veil was a magnificent forest, so she had been told. Maybe it would be a good place to search for her brother, whom she had not seen in a few days time. She wouldn't worry, for Northfall held a freedom of travel where some packs might not, but he was Konungr and with the pack small, had made sure to stay close to home for that exact fear that others might think he had abandoned the pack where so many else had before him.
It seemed, odd, and though, as said, she wasn't quite worried, she took it as every opportunity to go out on a little adventure. And, as it were, the massive evergreen forest truly was magnificent. She hadn't even delve into its depths, yet knew it to be so.
It stretched as far as the eye could see on either side. The deepness of green standing out over the vast open plain of snow, freshly settled onto the land below. A red glow of blood moon over the trees, causing shadows of darkness in the distance.
And there, a woman of ginger and cream as herself, tread outside the forest's grip and another, tawny and tall further from them both. Halló!
She calls out in the night.
