The depths of what was the Elk's Crown was something which Ezra would hardly ever fathom. He had passed through this forest, if along the outskirts more then anything, yet always with a guidance. To delve into them would surely mean being at utter loss for hours to come. And so, he delve.
When he was but a boy, a great fire had erupt in these lands among many others. His mother had safely guided him away, yet Ezra became curious of what all the destruction of the fires had caused, even now well over a year past.
Yet still, the forest was ablaze with red like flames. While Ezra had been quite aware of deciduous trees, he had been raised within the alpine, mostly well packed with evergreen trees. His home in Jakten now was far different and yet, it wasn't until now, as autumn came into bloom and being in the largest forest of all Mythris, did Ezra truly see the vibrant beauty of the color-changing trees. Deep reds, vibrant gold, ginger that reminded him of the color Journey wore on her back and orange that shined like the sun above.
Ezra was pleasantly surprised with himself, he was quite content this day.
