Since Altair's encounter with the Lady of Ignis, the world seemed to plummet into darkness. The skies were covered with clouds no one could see through; he had even ventured up the mountain just to have a sense of dread wash over him when he got too high up, as if the gods were telling him, "No."

Silently, Altair scoured the mountains; it had taken him several days prior to now to go around the entire bottom of it! Let alone go into the caves; he would wait to explore in the caves until the light of the sun was once more existent. Why had Ignis hidden? Was it something to do with the weird...dream? Was Ignis even HERE anymore? Had Glacia frozen him into isolation once more?

Carefully, whilst ignoring the many questions that flooded him, Altair scaled down the mountains from the minor hollows he'd found and towards the outskirts of the stony area, where trees began to dot themselves around. He was sure this was where home would become. Where Aetheria would rise from the ashes once more and become a safe haven to those who needed it and a nightmare to those who threatened the echos.
