Thread Title: Shrek 3: 「 Losing Streak 」
It happened in an instant, and Cahir had no possible way of explaining what exactly transpired.
He was falling into water; Was it a lake? A river? The ocean? He had no way of knowing, especially with how quickly he was suddenly submerged. For a moment, it was a mixture of confusion and panic. It was not a dream, of this he was certain, the way his nose burned and lungs ached for air was too real. The current moved him back and forth before he was able to break the surface, a string of coughs choking out as water escaped his airway.
The man waded, his muzzle and ears dripping heavily as he glanced around the basin he was within. Wherever he was, it was barricaded with mountains. Cahir coughed again, then proceeded to swim to land. Deep bellied inhales were taken as he dragged his body along the rocky shore. It wasn’t a far swim, nor was it strenuous, but the adrenaline dump that was ebbing away left him feeling exhausted.
He would just lay there, for a bit. Yeah, that was a good idea.
