After she had been fed breakfast the girl headed for the outskirts of Satriya, then continued west, and for several hours she explored. The further she went the smaller the obelisk became; she chose not to look back upon it more than once, and became focused thereafter upon the natural paths skirting the sands, leading to grassy hills. From this high place she could see quite far—and so she waited there to catch her breath, plotting where next to go.
Further west looked to be choked by trees! Such a forest was unlike anything she had ever seen before, and Aiesha was immediately intrigued.
