Oh...Liss tried to imagine the 'humans' Coyote described. Then, epiphany.
OHhhhhh! You mean raccoons! I saw some with mange once, or I thought it was mange, but they must have been a human! Her lip curled,
I mean. Sometimes they're good for a laugh, but I don't think I'd let them name me. I know myself better than a raccoon. She nodded.
Of family, she sighed.
I got lost. Or, they did, really. My parents went on pilgrimage and stayed away. My big brother was supposed to rule, but he was too young when they left. So... he left. But I always thought he'd come back. She shrugged.
So did my younger brother. And then the regent took the Vale away during a hard winter. Most of the pack left with him. They didn't come back either. But I stayed! She near whined it, like a confession, a promise, a child begging for validation.
I stayed and waited for them! My sister stayed for a while too, but then she left to try to track them down and...
Another sigh. Liss fiddled with grass beneath her paw.
I waited for aaages, and then I touched these cool looking rocks I found in the Highlands. And I ended up here. So I think they must have got taken here, too, and that's why they never came back! I've been looking for them. I know they're looking for me.
Hope, still,
I have an Uncle or Cousin or something out here somewhere who's been asking. I just have to pick up his trail! But... that will have to wait.
She stared down at her belly, and half rolled her eyes.
And anyway, maybe if I stay in one place that will make it easier for him to find me!
I welcome organic IC interactions and any twists, conflict, or drama that comes out of it!
