The sun burned into his sleeping eyes. He moaned, groaned, and rolled over through the sandy dirt and substrate. Trying his best to avoid a light that seemed to hit him no matter his position. His home was a cave, cozy and cool, behind a waterfall. Through the water he could see his valley, lush and full of life. He felt like its king, though never heralded any such title. Women would come occasionally into his territory, he'd indulge their wishes, and then they'd be on their way. Tigresses never much liked to stick around for too long. Yet it was nice, peaceful, and hardly ever required him to put too much effort in.
He was like a lazy prince, cushioned and soft with years of extravagance.
So, opening his eyes and seeing what looked like the hills of death was enough to make him rise to his feet and yell.
WHAT THE HELLHe hollered, head swinging around in every direction.
Had he been drugged and moved overnight?
A burning expression of hatred turned his soft face into one of wrath. He was thinking of that asshole that lived not too far from his territory. Pushy and rude, like a frat guy who could never take no for an answer. They fought a few times, though Akin would usually win with his quick thinking or quicker feet.
Had that asshat actually MOVED HIM out of HIS OWN DOMICILE.
Akin's tail lashed against the sand and picked up dust clouds behind him.
Think. THINK.
A deep breath entered his lungs, trying to cool his heated core. It was much too hot for such bitching anyway. First, Akin had to find his way back home...
