A boreal forest that just touches the divide between regions, making it somewhat warmer than other areas within the north. It resides near the coast where tall cliffs can be found scattered among its outer rim, and the sound of lapping waves often rings in the ear. Snowy owls prefer to call this forest home, and the nearby beaches are teeming with marine life - which travelers should be wary of, for the waters are especially deep within this region, and may sweep away any unwitting souls into its fearsome currents or down into the clutches of great sea-beasts.
