Birth by the sea, death by the sea
It is believed that every creature is born from the sea, their spirit taken from the collective and placed into a new body. As such, every newborn in the pack will be baptized in the ocean water. When a wolf dies, it is customary for its body to be returned to the sea to be reincarnated again. It is ultimately considered very bad luck if no part of a wolf is left after death to return to the sea. This may indicate that their spirit may never return.
Due to this nature, the pack believes in reincarnation. Makara and Syrena already believe themselves to have lived many lives before this, thanks to the power of the regeneration of the ocean.
The sacred animal is the sea turtle.
Hurt it and perish.
The entirety of the pack makes up the “spirit” of Cirein, which is believed to be a large, majestic sea creature (its primal form looks like a dragon/serpent). The more souls in the pack, the stronger the spirit of Cirein.
Every being is expected to bring a trait or gift to the pack, something that is unique to them to support the pack. Any unique trait is considered valuable and is protected.
Once initiated into the soul, members are expected to be loyal and honest. There is no “good,” or “evil,” and all souls simply … are. And their traits expand and evolve the spirit of Cirein for the greater good of the pack. (Alignment: True Neutral)

The Exchanging of Shells ━ A joyous occasion, a two-day celebration welcoming in arms the glorious couple. Those who wish for marriage must present sea shells to the Heart or Soul of the pack for their blessing. Upon receiving the shells, the leaders will store them until the wedding ceremony. These will be a symbolic representation of ‘wedding bands’. The ceremony will begin on the first night under the moon, the Heart and Soul will blow into the pū at the very start of the ceremony to bring guests to the celebration. The couple will accept their fates as one by bathing in the waters of the ocean where they will exchange vows within the sea and come out as one being. Dispersing for a whole day of celebration in honor of the new couple in the morning. Hunts and games provided.
Returning What was Borrowed ━ Those who lay their lives, will not be forgotten. Believing in reincarnation, the body must return to the sea. A large cliff engulfs where the bodies will be thrown off the ledge. Wrapped in seaweed and decorated with various gifts from those of the pack. Casting them off into the sea to be reborn and hopefully return to them anew. If the sea is without a body the souls are deemed lost… forever searching for the sea.

Serpent's Mouth - Most of the sea wolves will find comfort in the coolness of the cave. An intricate tunnel system within the rocks. Many lay to leave the heat of the sun.
The Dutchman's Curse - The sea has eroded the rocks underneath to allow an access point to the privacy of another part of the beach. A large vessel comes into play as the waves gently lap against the water. Here is where most of the entertainment is held.
Enchater's Cavern - Another cavern resides, this is where the main pack can be occupied. Another tunneling system though, this one easier to guide and the other side will lead to the main beach as well as the shipwreck.
