Pasithea was quite happy with how her den was turning out. Her cache of dried flowers sat in the corner of her den, dead and gone like the summer, the scents of what was left floating to her nostrils and soothing her from her sleep into a daydream...
Sighing the tiny wolf stretched out her paws before her and grunted with the effort of her shaking body. Once she had fully reached herself out she stood and shuffled her fur onto her back, the one she'd originally gathered from the first giving tree, and set out into the cold crisp world to look for something to do.
As a gardener the woman didn't have much to do in the winter months, the ground being frozen and everything being dead, it was a time for her to focus on herself and the world. So today she set out into the forest to see if she could find amusement in the bright day.
She'd reached the forest and wandered around for a while before dim colored lights caught her eye. A smile crossed over her pale grey maw and she jumped on her paws for joy before rushing over to the origin of the lights. Once she arrived she found a large spruce tree covered in glinting colors. Blues, greens, yellows, whites and so many other colors just sparkled, even in the daylight they were glorious...
Placing herself at the base she put paws on the trunk to stick her face inside and shuffle around till she found something for her. She looked around in that tree for a while, her face buried in the soft needles, before she found anything. But once she did she was shocked and surprised...
Inside was a large conch shell, vibrant pinks were inside while the outside was a nice shade of a tannish color. Woofing excitedly she went back in and pulled out something else...
Upon further investigation Pasithea found some beach glass and a small bundle made of some sort of animal skin that housed some unknown seeds...
Squealing Pasithea hopped for joy and bowed lowly at the base of the tree to express her gratitude to the thing for what it had provided her. She placed a paw upon the giants leg, as if searching for a heartbeat, and closed her eyes with a gentle sigh.
Thank you... God's thank you...Pasi smiled as she held herself there.
