For a moment it was such fun to watch the adults and her siblings tumble and rumble with each other, a little scary, but still fun!! She already knew how fierce her sisters were, she witnessed it first hand nearly everyday! Though such activities weren’t too much of a thing for her, however chasing birds? Definitely her speed.

She’d gotten distracted, per usual, chasing a little chickadee through the trees and up a hill, she didn’t think of it at the moment but luckily she left thick enough tracks to be able to follow to get back to the party later on. Illithya thought the little birdie wanted to play, it had dove down on her, tickled her nose even! But for some odd reason it just kept running away, it even came to a point where she had lost track of it in the trees.

Being anything but quick to give up a game, she pursued, jumping happily through the snow until finally she had caught up. The little birdie had perched itself on a loose branch the stuck from the snow, it was thin, and apparently couldn’t hold its weight because suddenly it went sliding down the hill.

Right then and there she’d gotten the most exciting idea of the night! She too would slide down the hill, however a tiny branch wouldn’t hold her, so instead she would peel off a thick enough piece of bark from the trees.. this was definitely Nausicaa’s specialty, but alas! She was by herself this time, no worries though, Illithya always found a way!

Note: the girls around around 3.5 months

Viola had been cautiously exploring, every so often she would return to check in with her mother before bounding off again. The ground was cold, much colder than she was used to, and the sky was clear, unlike the dense fog that enveloped Mistveil. Wherever this place was, the young girl found herself enjoying it quite a bit.

It was the sudden flash of brown fur that froze Viola in her tracks, ears cupped forward listening to the crunching of snow. Was it Bella? Or maybe a bunny? Or squirrel? Amber eyes lit up brightly as her thinly furred tail began to rapidly swing back and forth. Mama wouldn’t mind her going a bit further, right? With so many wolves around, it sounded impossible to get lost.

Fueled with wonder and curiosity, the blue pup began to bound forward. The random pockets of slightly-deeper snow would pose some issues as she stumbled into them due to her small size, but Vi was quick to jump back to her feet each time. She was used to having to get back up after being pushed down, it was normal.

Eventually, she spotted them—not Bella, not a bunny, not a squirrel—a girl. Not the girl she had played with in the tourney either, this was a new girl. And she was chewing on a tree for some reason…?

Hi! Viola called, her tail still frantically wagging as she stumbled closer through the snow.

1..2..3.. TUG! She repeated these counts in her head, finding it impossible to do so with her voice while pulling at the strip of bark. It was truly much harder than she thought it would be, more difficult than anything she’d ever done! Though the lingering technic of how her sister would’ve done it kept her motivated! She might even make her proud! And that thought alone brought giggles bubbling from her throat. Nevertheless she kept tugging.. and tugging and tugging some more, until suddenly her nose gave a curious wiggle.

There something new in the air, someone new! Her maw was quick to release the strip of wood, leaving her little bite marks imprinted in the wood. Her mixed match gaze shifted from tree to tree, until finally her ears perked and her eyes found its source. It was a girl! A friend! Oh my she had a new friend! And she was pretty too! She reminded her of the nighttime skies, when the sun went to sleep. Maybe she would add her to her special prettiest of pretty collection too!

Her excitement showed in her bounded steps towards the girl, tail wagging, and smile wide. "HI!" She greeted, not exactly paying mind to the octave of her voice. "I’m Illithya! Whats your name?? I saw ya in the games! You played against my sister and almost won, tha’ was so cool! Do you want to play with me!? I promise it’ll be fun!" She chirped, a spew of words falling from her lips, her short legs fighting their way through the snow before making a not so perfect circle around the girl before pausing in front of her. "So will you come?? Play I mean! And what was your name again?"

Already catching the breath that was used to trek a path her and speak to the girl, she found it a bit odd she hasn’t yet heard her voice besides the earlier greeting, perhaps she was like her other sister, Eidola, in terms of quietness; but that was okay!! It would be harder to stump her octave as well and also slow down, but she’d try! She really wanted to play with her new friend after all, and how could she get to know her if she couldn’t hear her??

Viola’s tail wagged quickly, lanky puppy legs carrying her closer in a way that lacked grace and stability. Golden eyes gleamed warmly as she watched the smiling face of a girl she had never seen before. She was learning that not all puppies were like Bella—first the girl she had wrestled in the tournament and now this one!

HI! she said again, just because she was so ecstatic about the new found friend she’d discovered. Blue ears pressed forward tentatively, listening as the other introduced herself as “Illithya” and said the girl she’d wrestled was her sister! A sister? Like Bella was her sister?! That made them the same! Right? Ill-th, Illi-, Ill-…Thya! the name was a bit too much to make out, so Thya would have to do for now!

Viola leapt side to side, a vocal yip escaping as she celebrated the invitation to play. Oh! Yes! Her name! ’m Viola! she replied, tail still whipping back and forth as she eagerly watched Thya.

Without worrying about the other's comfort, Viola rushed towards Thya’s side relentlessly rubbing her face against her side and giddily licking at the girl’s cheek without stopping. They were gonna be best friends! What’re we gonna do?!
