Fiadh knows theres a pack here.

She hasn't quite met them, but they've probably scented her going back and forth on her adventures, at the tourney...the only problem was she wasn't sure if they'd be willing to let them stay until the lake was safe again. Until the pups are born, she's a mouth to feed, even with her two lanky shadows with her to pick up the slack until she's been freed.

The pups too, mouths to feed, bodies to protect.

She's....pretty sure just her and Dimitri could do this alone, but Spider came along too claiming they'd need an extra paw. Fiadh was glad for it, because at least one of them had experience with this, given Valeska and Amaranth had decided to go down with the ship. No, this wasn't going to be worse with none of their families around, shut up.

Once they were close enough, Fiadh threw her head back and howled.

It's not a good feeling. The den they'd prepared, now abandoned? There'd be hardly any time to get things ready. And yet, when Fiadh said they had to leave, Dimitri believed her. He hadn't gotten the dreams or the visions, but he followed her regardless, Spider at their heels. It was a good sign that they at least wouldn't be entirely be alone.

But his mothers didn't seem to want to leave...

He could only hope Fiadh was being unreasonable. That the story she told him wouldn't come to fruition. And yet, Fiadh had never been a seer. And for someone without visions to receive a vision is something to pay attention to. The bones seemed to agree.

The woman before him is clearly an authority, and he defers to her with a flick of his ears. But he'll speak. "Hello. Are you Fable? I've heard Avon is a refuge, and uh." He glances at Fiadh, then back at Fable. "I'm Dimitri, and this is Fiadh, and Spider." He nods to Spider, who doesn't really need a direct post but we're saying he's here for the record. "This might sound strange, but we don't believe it's safe to be in Elysium right now. And Fiadh's due any day now. Would it be possible to stay here for a bit? I uh. I understand taking in a litter is perhaps a lot to ask, but Spider and I can hunt for your entire pack as well as my children."

He'll let Fiadh explain if there's anything more to Elysium not being safe.

Spider was here, quietly following the pair of lovebirds, all too familiar with how a litter could wither away with only two to care for it. He was not a man that would let anyone go through with that if he could help it, let alone two young wolves having their first litter.

So here he was, professional dad mode activated, while Fiadh howled out a summons and they were greeted by a pretty peach wolf. Dimitri volunteered them to be hunters, the man nodding along. Hunting, patrols, whatever you need. He confirmed.

Basically the lake is fucked Fiadh was of course, straight to the point. The water burns when ya touch it, let alone drink it, an' its got some kinda....magic pull that makes you want more. Her stomach had been trying to kill her, she was sure, nausea was terrible. Yes, she was perhaps a big baby when it came to nausea. There's more but its..a looong story How would she explain the dreams, quickly at least?

Once the babes are out 'n weaned I'll be pitchin' in too don't ya fret The boys can babysit in turns, and if these kids grow as fast as the two litters she's seen in her time here the kids will be following her on hunts and patrols...quick.
