They had been in Northfall for a season and the pair hadn't felt very welcomed. There had been a tournament but Valkyrie hadn't met many folks even in the events and festivities there was still an air about the pack that hung heavy like a wet pelt. Nudging her mate Val turned a citrine gaze to the beloved handsome man at her side, blinking slowly as her heart hung heavy in her chest.
She enjoyed the mountains and cold of Northfall but the wolves had an aura about them that just didn't feel like her, didn't feel like she should be there, and she didn't like it. Arvid seemed nice enough and the other wolf she'd met seemed kind in her own way but that had been the extent of interactions that she'd had and they were not warm and radiating like she had hoped. Northfall just wasn't for the Viking pair and she hoped the leader of the pack would understand.
