If you are looking to bring your character back from the dead, please make sure you read this page first! For any additional questions that have not been answered in this information, please refer to staff.

The Vivarium allows for dead characters to be brought back via Reincarnation. If your character has passed away on site, no matter the cause, they are able to be revived. This is not a feature that comes hand in hand with abuse, to avoid this from happening we have defined the rules below.

Rules

• A new account must be used for characters being reincarnated.
• The previous account must be marked as deceased - characters will lose any achievements and skills. (Please read how to potentially export skills at the bottom of this page)
• The new account must be submitted for Character Acceptance and stated within the application that this is a revived character. (You must link to the thread in which they died)
• The sole purpose for reviving a character cannot be for revenge, unless discussed between relevant parties
• Forced revenge plots will not be allowed, the same as forced deaths are not allowed.
• Revived characters can come back at any age. They can even be reborn as a newborn into an existing litter (with parent player permissions, please discuss these plots!)
• There cannot be two versions of the same character running around on Mythris. Reincarnations are only accepted once the previous character is deceased.

Reincarnation Variations

There are three types of reincarnated characters you must pick between. Choosing none will result a new character, not a reincarnation:

• Characters who retain their name, memoires, gender/sex, appearance and personalities.
• Characters who retain only a few of the above (i.e. gender, apperance, and personality)
• Characters who retain only one of the above (e.g. same apperance but different memories/personality/name/gender/sex)

Skill transfer for reincarnated characters

This is only applicable to reincarnated characters who have retained memories of their past life.

If characters reincarnate at the age of 2 years old or older, they will be permitted to port over one of the following:

• 3 base skills of your choice
• 2 special (or misc) skills of your choice, or
• 1 expert skill of your choice

these skills will go toward your new character's life from their past acquired skills.
